It’s been a while since we had some lovely white interiors on Freshome. Balham House is a fantastic looking residence located in London, and when we say “fantastic”, we take in consideration both the interior design and its calm, serene atmosphere.
Norwegian furniture designer Amy Hunting (currently living in London) has come up with this fantastic bookshelf! To create this innovative and exciting design, Amy has used blocks of over 20 types of wood, found in a London timber importers waste bin and cotton rope. Using off-cuts of wood, Amy makes the most of what others might ignore or throw out, demonstrating an eco-conscience without losing her savvy

The architecture is simple and stylish, featuring elements that are not at all common and shaped around a two-level living-room.
From architect Marcio Kogan, in collaboration with a few others talented artists, comes this amazing design, a project called Gama Issa House and located in São Paulo, Brasil. A69 is an architecture company from the Czech Republic. Contrary to a general belief, this house was not projected like this willingly. The site had many particular elements (a garden that needed to be preserved, an old building that was used as an adjacent support for the contemporary one) which made the development of the architecture plans rather tricky. However, the final results are stunning: a circular home built around a garden, which is also a space for relaxation.
This amazing construction was built as a design showroom and it houses exhibition areas, a shop, a cafe which is also connected to the exterior and conference rooms. Its architecture is original and creative.
