Here is an interesting and very cool idea for some bookcase extra storage space. “Plus One” comes from Matthias Ries and it has a fresh and youthful feel.

You’ve seen a lot of unusual pendant lamps on Freshome, but probably none that compared in dimensions to the Smithfield, a design we found exhibited online at Flos. We think this is the sort of product you either love or hate.

Since we had a post on Feshome with 25 room designs for teenage girls , it is only natural that we should have a similar collection for boys as well. We have to admit it was very hard finding these pictures, as not many interior designers focus on creating boys’ room arrangements.  Do you have any idea why? Even though it was not easy, we hope you will enjoy strolling through the photos.

Artist Don Lucho created a fascinating project called Casa de Karton which we just had to present on Freshome.

Crawford Partnership is a London based architecture company whose projects include this creative modern residence extension in London. The idea of complementing an existing structure with a new, contemporary-looking one not only solves the problem of extra space but also creates architectural value. This particular addition houses a dining room, an open kitchen, a bedroom and an office.

Iron Man 2 continues the adventures of billionaire Tony Stark and his superhero alter ego Iron Man.

I for one really enjoy seeing remote residential projects. This particular home is called Villa Chabrey and is located in a beautiful landscape in Chabrey, Switzerland.

Just wanted to let you know that we are at Milan Design Week 2010, and finding an internet connection is quite a challenge. Tomorrow the fair will start and we will be reporting on all the cool stuff that we discover at the Salone del Mobile show.
